Project for a stand of a winery.

Contest of ideas for exhibition
This stand for wine was born from the idea of the wine cellar, which is identified as the place of production and storage of wine. At the beginning, the idea was to play a rustic cellar with vaulted ceilings and the walls in red brick, but I soon noticed that the structure would be cumbersome and costly. Wanting to keep the idea of the cellar that is the focus of the project, I decided to close the stand with walls that can be used for the display of billboards and posters related to the winery which will be the stand itself, leaving three openings to allow regular flow of visitors. The ceiling is open to not suffocate the space and the three revenue will be one in the center of one long side and two side in the corresponding side. The walls are painted to distinguish the two main areas of the whole space: the red area, is devoted to red wine and derivatives, while the bright yellow, is dedicated to white wines and the corresponding ones. In each area, there are two large columns that contain, respectively, the bottles of red and white wines and act as exhibitors, while the lower part will be occupied by small deposits, which are accessed through curved sliding. The bottles, disposed on two levels, will be illuminated by a column of internal light that shines out the shape and the importance of all the manufactured article, highlighting the wines exposed. These two columns will be the jewel of the entire stand, from where the three arms of bright spotlights that will ensure a uniform illumination of the underlying space, next to the column, under one arm light, are located some tables and stools made of simple form and natural materials that will be used for the staging area in the service area of glass. The central entrance shows immediately the counter of the pouring of the wine, leaving the two hidden "jewels" of the stand on the sides and the floor of the bar in the shape of a classic wine bottle made and divided by four sectors delimited by the encounter of the various floors, which draw the cuts of the original coating of the cap and the label indicated on the bottles; the material used for both the counter for which the floor is wood, in particular are provided in correspondence of the position of the stools, an area which will identify the imprint of the sitting for the positioning of the furniture; is realized of wood with a red color as the walls. In the counter pouring are the spaces that will be used for storing wine glasses and everything you need for the service, while at the narrowest part and tapering plan, you will find a small space area information desk, behind the counter, the wall is designed with prints of bottle shapes cut in relief in black on a white background to stand out and give depth to the idea of the back bench of the old commercial wineries.
The project is designed for the promotion and popularization of wine regardless of the company that will use it, is through the idea that the materials and colors used. The construction technique and design solutions have been set up to facilitate both assembly any different configurations of space, while keeping its recognition.
The prevalent materials of the structure are: natural wood for the floors and any parts of furnishings, together with the use of cork for coating stools, while, as regards the part of the walls and columns, has been provided for the use of plasterboard treated and finished with natural colors. The main structures of anchorage and support, are made of metal. Parts of opal glass, will be used to highlight areas in the crown of the columns. The support structure of the counter is made of plasterboard painted with metallic structure, while the bottles cropped, are colored elements made of wood or similar, of maximum thickness cm.2.
